McCain needed an Olympic spot. We brought our documentary instincts to it.

That meant earning the trust of a world cup athlete Laurence St-Germain and her dad to capture their story with the authenticity it deserved. But this wasn't a pure documentary. We were also managing child actors, multiple locations, complex lighting setups, and a tight production window. A small, flexible crew that knows both worlds is the only way to pull that off... and it was also key when we had to change locations last minute!

“Shooting an Olympic commercial at start of winter comes with its share of challenges, especially in a year marked by an unusually dry early season. Our original location had to pull out the week before the shoot because of a lack of snow. We were able to pivot on a dime and move the production to Whitehorse, one fo the only places in North America that had snow. That's the kind of problem you can only solve fast if you know the mountain community well ”
